House Portraits
House portraits make a lovely treat for family, friends or neighbours - or for yourself, to celebrate the home you love. My house portraits capture the elegance and individuality of your home, turning the spotlight on all the things that make it special.
I offer original watercolour and gouache painting and I am also able to provide prints if required. I can also arrange framing for the perfect gift.
How to commission me
Drop me a line to hello@katehighmore.com to tell me about your ideas. We’ll discuss your requirements, and I’ll provide you with a quote for the piece. It’s useful if you have a photo when I’m quoting, so I can see the scope of the work, but it’s not a problem if not. If you do decide to commission me, I’ll definitely need some clear photos of the building from the angle you’d like me to sketch and paint it.
I am very happy to add a range of unique touches such as your pet, family or car - just tell me when we chat through your ideas as these ideas will inform the quote.
We’ll agree a timeframe based on your deadlines and my availability, and then I’ll get started.
I’ll keep in regular contact with you to update you on the progress of your painting and delivery when it’s ready to send.
From your initial expression of interest until your painting arrives with you, you’ll feel reassured it’s going to be an heirloom-worthy piece with your unique input.

Prices start at £125 for an unframed A4 watercolour painting. (I can arrange framing. Please ask me for a quote).
Prices will vary depending on the scope and complexity of the piece.
